Keep Managed Warehouse event data in the EU

GrowthBook Managed Warehouse supports event ingestion and storage in AWS's EU region in Ireland (eu-west-1). Teams that need their collected event data to stay in the EU can choose that region when creating a Managed Warehouse data source.

Choose the region for your event data

The EU option covers event ingestion and storage in the managed ClickHouse warehouse. GrowthBook's application, login, configuration and computed experiment results remain hosted in the US. This is an event-data residency option, rather than a move of the entire GrowthBook platform to the EU.

Your SDK must send events to the ingestor that matches the data source. The EU endpoint is https://eu-west-1.gb-ingest.com; an SDK left on the default US endpoint will not deliver events to an EU warehouse. For example, a team creating an EU data source should configure the matching host before checking that its first events arrive.

Getting started

Create a Managed Warehouse data source under Metrics and Data → Data Sources, choose the EU region, and configure the corresponding ingestion host. Follow the Managed Warehouse setup guide for your SDK and verify incoming events in SQL Explorer.
