Within Slack, users can both prompt the GrowthBook AI assistant and subscribe to custom notifications on experiment lifecycle events.
Why
Remove context switching; users are notified of experiment status changes and can chat with the AI assistant without checking GrowthBook manually.
How
Connect your organization to a Slack workspace in Settings → Slack
Add experiment lifecycle event alerts
- In Settings, configure which Slack channels receive experiment lifecycle alerts.
- Subscribe to events: experiment started, stopped with results, went stale, guardrail failure, or bandit weight changes. Each alert renders as an immutable card in light or dark theme.
Add AI assistant
- DM the GrowthBook bot or @mention it in a channel. Your first message returns a link to connect your GrowthBook account to your Slack identity.
- After linking, ask questions directly in Slack. One workspace per organization at this time.
