Custom Dimensions for Experiments

September 2, 2026

What

Two new on-the-fly ways to slice experiment results: split units by first exposure before or after a chosen datetime, or break down results by a combination of two dimensions at once.

Why

Experiment results often need to be cut by when a user entered the test or by two attributes simultaneously. Both previously required pre-computed warehouse columns or separate experiment runs. These dimension types work on existing data with no warehouse changes.
