Managed Warehouse FAQ
Yes. Managed Warehouse is an option for all GrowthBook Cloud plans.
No. GrowthBook supports both managed and warehouse-native setups. Managed Warehouse is optional.
Usage is based on monthly event volume. Free includes 1M events. Pro includes 2M events, then usage-based pricing.
Yes. We're just managing the data warehouse and event tracking infrastructure for you. It still works with all of the leading data warehouse and event tracking tools so you don't have to use one set of tools to collect product data and another to collect experiment data.
Managed Warehouse is built on a ClickHouse data warehouse. You can send events to Managed Warehouse with our SDKs or with our Ingestion API, and they will be passed to our Managed Warehouse via our Event Tracker.
We are rapidly working toward complete multi-platform SDK compatibility. HTML Script Tag, Client-Side JavaScript / React, Node.js, Python, Java, Flutter, PHP, and Golang SDKs are all supported. Please reference the Docs or check with Support if you require something else.
Yes. You can switch to your own warehouse without replacing SDKs or changing experiments. You will need to update SDK configurations for your event trackers and data warehouse.
Managed Warehouse includes Product Analytics with its raw SQL query access to the hosted data warehouse. Managed Warehouse is not a replacement for your entire data analytics stack.
